The most effective method is using IDM ( Internet Download Manager ) but to find the free version of idm is quite difficult. I only have the old version of IDM and it does not suite the new version of Firefox, IE, or even Google. There is another way which allows you to download videos from youtube without using other websites or software. It is because that when the video is buffering it actually downloading the video into your computer and it is saved into one of your computer's folder. After you found it, you must rename it to change the type of that video in .mp4 or .flv type.
Currently i am using this website to download videos from youtube. JUST CLICK THE "NO THANKS" BUTTON TO CONTINUE DOWNLOADING YOUR VIDEO. All you have to do is just copy the URL of the video at the address bar and then paste in it the column of video URL in that website. After that, you just gotta choose your desired video's format. It is better to choose .Flv format and find a video that is HD so combine these two things will give you more fantastic video's quality.
